With the end of the year, my project in Reggio Emilia also came to an end. I will start with saying that this 9 months was for me a life-changing experience. There is so many things I have learnt about me, about life and about my goals and attitudes that is hard to collect it all.

started my journey with Bologna already 2 years ago. I came for an exchange as an Erasmus student and stayed here for a long time. I started my friendship with ELA and YOUNET during my student internship, stayed for a year as a volunteer, and now I have received a job offer and am happily enjoying Italian life.
Post by: Elena Lukashevich Everything has a beginning and an end, and this is the end of my one-year volunteering adventure in Bologna, Younet. This year was very intense and very different, but the most important thing is how many I have learned and how much experience I have gained. Thanks to volunteering, I met many friends and perfected the beautiful Italian language.
Post by: Dori Adoracion Cerrillo I can’t believe it’s only been a year. Leaving Bologna really felt like leaving a part of myself behind, which I believe is a sign of a good time. I can’t describe how significant this past year has been for me, as I feel like I changed fundamentally as a person.
Post by: Dominika Swinin This year was really intense and lots of things chanced in my life. I came in Bologna after a hard year of my life and this place helped me find myself again, pieces I thought I had lost. I was full of different feelings since day one.
Post by: Margherita Alaia When I arrived in Bologna, I hardly spoke a word of English and nothing in italian. I would be lying if I said I wasn't afraid, but I did my best to fight this fear. But I tried all the time to see the positive in this new life. With months, I started to speak better and better, more and more. Post by: Antoine Boudes Il mio progetto finisce ora e non mi posso credere che sono stata a Bologna per 365 giorni. Tante cose che sono successe. Tante cose che ho imparato. Tanta gente che ho conosciuto. Tanti bel ricordi che ho vissuto. to edit. Post by Marina García Felipe Ciao a tutti! My time with YouNet in Italy has finally come to an end and honestly, I am pretty sad about that. I really had a lot of fun here in Bologna, it was a blast! I still remember when I first arrived in Italy and was in awe at the fact that I had just moved to another country. It feels like it happened just yesterday. Post by Bora Özgün My project is over, and I still don't believe it because I really didn't want it to end. The first day that I arrive I thought two things: what an empty city because none was on the streets and after I learnt that that happened because it was Ferragosto; and what a cute city is, a lot of colorful buildings. |
